How plans work
Last updated October 31, 2026
Browsing in Kesl yourself doesn't cost any credits, just like a regular browser. Anything you ask the assistant, typed or spoken, uses credits, even "take me to google.com."
Starter credits
Every new install of Kesl comes with 500 starter credits, enough for a few tasks, with nothing to sign up for. They're a one-time start: reinstalling Kesl doesn't give you more. Settings → Your plan shows what's left.
Free trial
Kesl Plus starts with a 14-day free trial through the App Store, with 3,000 credits, plenty to try everything Kesl does. Kesl offers it when your starter credits run out, or tap Start free trial in Settings → Your plan anytime. The trial is once per Apple ID; if you've had it before, Kesl offers Plus without it.
If you don't cancel, Plus starts when the trial ends. To cancel, open the iPhone's Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
Have a creator code? Tap Have a code? under Start free trial, or in Settings → Your plan. A creator code gives you a full month of Plus credits, 5,000, instead of the trial's 3,000.
Plus
Plus is a monthly subscription through the App Store: 5,000 credits a month. For a limited time it's $6.99 a month (regularly $9.99), and if you subscribe at that price, it stays your price for as long as you stay subscribed. Prices outside the US are shown in Kesl before you buy.
Your credits start over on your billing day each month. Credits you don't use don't carry over.
Used your trial credits early? Tap Start Plus now: the free days end, billing starts that day, and you get 5,000 credits at once. Or tap Wait until your trial's end date.
To cancel, open the iPhone's Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, at least 24 hours before it renews. You keep Plus until the end of the month you paid for.
Adding credits
On Plus, you can add credits anytime: 2,000 credits for $4.99 or 5,000 credits for $9.99 in the US (prices elsewhere are shown in Kesl before you buy). Added credits never expire, and Kesl uses them only after your monthly credits run out. You can buy more than once. They aren't offered during the free trial; starting Plus is the way to keep going.
How far credits go
Each thing the assistant does uses some credits, depending on how much work it takes. A quick answer about the page uses a little. A task that goes through many pages, like comparing hotels, uses more. Things that aren't tasks, like a web search or clearing pop-ups off a page, use credits too.
Here's about how far a month of Plus goes if you spent it all on one kind of thing:
| What you ask | Credits, about | Times in 5,000 |
|---|---|---|
| A question about the page you're on | 20 | 250 |
| Opening hours for a place | 27 | 185 |
| Clearing pop-ups off a page | 45 | 110 |
| "Show me the rooms" at an address | 55 | 90 |
| A flight search | 83 | 60 |
| Finding a dinner spot, then "the second one" | 85 | 58 |
| A hotel search with dates | 150 | 33 |
| A saved runbook, run up to payment | 200 | 25 |
| A long session doing several things | 350 | 14 |
A real month is a mix of these, about 60 in all. These are averages from our own tests; a slow or very long page can use more. Settings → Your plan shows how many credits you have left.
When you run out
A task that's already running gets some room to finish, up to about 500 credits past zero, so Kesl rarely stops halfway through a page. Those extra credits come out of your next credits. A new task waits until you have credits again: when starter credits run out, Kesl offers the free trial; during the trial, it offers to start Plus; on Plus, it offers to add credits. Nothing is done on the page in the meantime, and you can keep browsing the whole time.
Long sessions
If the assistant uses 1,500 credits in one clock hour, Kesl pauses and asks Keep going?, so a task that's gone wrong can't keep spending your credits without you knowing. Tap Keep going and it picks up where it left off, or Stop here to end the task. The count starts over at the top of each hour.
New phone, or reinstalled
Your plan belongs to your Apple ID. In Kesl, open Settings → Your plan and tap Restore purchases.
Refunds and problems
Purchases go through Apple, so refunds do too: go to reportaproblem.apple.com. If the assistant broke on a task and used up your credits, tap Settings → Report a problem: it emails support@kesl.ai what happened in that session, and you can add to it before you send.
